Rutva: Helmet aisa hona chahiye ki scarf bhi nahi bandhna chahiye..goggles bhi nahi pehanna pade..baal ko nuksaan na kare..safety bhi ho.
(A helmet should be such that I don’t need to tie a scarf or wear googles, my hairstyle should stay intact and there should be safety as well)
Me: aap bahut difficult kar rake hain mera kaam
(you are making my work difficult)
All laughing
One of them: I can understand..
Nrupa: Ek helmet mein 3 log adjust kar sake waisa..
(There should be a helmet which can be ‘adjusted’ to fit 3 sizes)
I’ll leave this post open to interpretation!

All that ado!
Near V.S Hospital, Paldi, Ahmedabad
The two groups of women who definitely chose to look like this :
- College going girls
- Working women
Probably because they feel the social pressure to look good.
Funny, how on one of my conversations with a married woman, she said ” Working women ya college ki ladkiya hi dupatta lekar face cover karti hain, married women ko zaroorat nahi hai ” (Working women and college going girls cover their faces with the dupatta, married women do not need it)
I would like to interpret it as :
-Married women, make shorter trips, to places closer to their homes like the vegetable market (so might not need to cover their face)
- Have the choice of avoiding going out in the sun in the afternoons.
- Or simply, now that she is married, she does not need to take care of the way she ‘looks’! HA-HA!
